MEET THE TEAM
Garry Henry
Garry joined with his brother Glenn to form Glenn Henry Motorcycles in 1998. Prior to starting, his background was in Banking and then Personal Insurance Planning.
His role at GHM is business administration, customer service, and workshop management.
Garry keeps the constant flow of workshop jobs in order whilst keeping in contact with owners, ordering parts and helping Glenn and Bernie explain to owners their position, options and costings as the job proceeds.
Garry believes the most important thing is communication with owners.
Glenn Henry
Glenn has a lifetime career working on and riding motorcyles in the Shoalhaven.
45 years ago, Glenn became Dave Burns Motorcyles' first apprentice, which included factory training on Suzuki, Kawasaki & BMW motorcycles. 14 years later, Glenn spent 10 years with Paul Gray Motorcycles, gaining factory training on Honda & Yamaha.
In 1998, Glenn joined into a partnership with brother Garry to open Glenn Henry Motorcycles. 3 years later in 2001 they took on a Yamaha franchise. The Yamaha franchise was relinquished after 12 years to allow the repair shop to flourish on the back of Glenn's reputation in the Shoalhaven as the go-to mechanic for quality of service & repairs.
Bernie McNeil
Bernie has been an integral part of Glenn Henry Motorcycles for over 10 years. Prior to joining the team, Bernie was a qualified and competent Auto Electrician.
Upon commencing work with GHM, he went on to complete a mature age apprenticeship & received factory training with Yamaha.
Bernie’s autoelectrical background is a huge advantage to the motorcycle repair process but more so is his profound ability to work through the most complicated problem cases. Glenn has often commented that Bernie has to be one of the best all round technicians he has ever seen.
